New Collection: Evolving Patterns

A Collaboration with Great Minds Across the Globe

It all began with an email. Azmas Rugs founder, Azmi Merican, reached out to Canadian computer scientist, Craig S. Kaplan with a simple proposition: translate his computer-generated artworks into woven rugs. Kaplan graciously agreed.

Not long after, we joined forces with two other leading minds in mathematical art, David Mrugala and Michael Rowan. The Azmas collective was growing.

The resulting collection, Evolving Patterns, is music for the eyes. Each piece tells a story through metamorphosis. Shapes that begin one way and end another. An abstraction of a universal truth: change is inevitable.
